Stingray City

Stingray City is a sandbar located approximately 20 minutes away from Grand Cayman on boat. If you only have time to see one thing in the Cayman Islands because you are on a cruise ship stop over, this would be the attraction not to miss.  Over the last 100 years friendly stingrays have been frequenting the sand bar for food.  It started awhile back because fishermen would wash their fishes on this sandbar before going back to land and since then, more and more stingrays have made Stingray City their home.
