Cayman Turtle Farm

The Cayman Turtle Farms, previously called Boatswain's Beach is a park where families can spend an entire morning interacting with turtles, birds, sharks and other wildlife creatures either endemic to the Cayman Islands or the Caribbean. Here is a list of what to expect whilst you wander around the park.

1. Turtles - all kinds but mostly the green sea turtle.  You can see them in the breeding pond, you can see them in the turtle tanks and you touch them in the touch tanks.  Its a fun way for kids to learn more about turtles and how cute they are.  Just be very careful in handling the turtles. 

2. Souvenir Shop - nice assortment of souvenirs of the turtle farm, from shirts, photos, keychains - you won't have an excuse not to bring something home.

3. Restaurant called Schooner's Bar & Grill - nice place to relax before heading back to the cruise ship

4. Lagoon with waterfalls - nice place to hang out with the kids after touring the farm

5. Aviary and Iguanas - an enclosed space with assortment of birds and other caribbean species, children will be thrilled

6. Shark Tank - sharks and other interesting species.
